It was Bishop László Tőkés, president of the National Council of Transylvania and József Csapó, president of the Székely National Council who invited the affected parties and NGOs, from the mother country there were Fidesz and MDF delegates present. Tibor T. Toró MP, vice president of the National Council of Transylvania said they had brought in new bills in the Romanian parliament about self-governments based on individual rights and autonomy based on community rights. Yesterday even the idea of a referendum emerged about autonomy and the participants of the Hungarian summit accepted a declaration requesting all Hungarian representatives in the European Parliament to support the idea of autonomy as the only means to preserve the autochthon Hungarian population.
