If the promise is not kept, less ambulance stations can be renovated and there will be no chance to buy new ambulance cars. The Ministry wanted to cover the sum taken away by ’government restrictions’ from selling real estates in its property. At the beginning they promised HUF 3,5-4 billion, later they mentioned only HUF 2,5-3 billion. The greatest sum was expected by the sale of Club Aliga at Lake Balaton with three hotels and a public landing-pier but the resort centre worth about HUF 8 billion must be sold by a tender. The National Ambulance Service has been operated with great difficulties and its support was promised by Premier Medgyessy as part of the so-called ’Plan of Europe’.
