SÁNDOR CSINTALAN: BOMBS WITH POLITICAL BACKGROUND

The explosions occurring in Hungary several years ago had political and foreign political motivations, too, said Sándor Csintalan to Hír TV. According to the former managing vice chairman of the Hungarian Socialist Party the bombs were signs of warning partly due to the policy with the neighbouring countries.

He said the leaders of the Socialist Party have become prisoners of their own clientele. Since 1995 the supporters of the party have an attitude of investors. The party is led by people like Ferenc Gyurcsány or Tamás Leisztinger who have invaded the party with a sack of money and started to ’operate it’. According to Mr Csintalan the fact that Péter Kiss, Minister of the Chancellery, would not undertake the position of the chairmanship of the party shows he does not see any hope in rebuilding the party.
