ACTORS ENTERTAIN MAYOR DEMSZKY IN CROATIA

The Mayor comes home but the party goes on.

Gábor Demszky, Mayor of Budapest left his luxury resort home in Croatia yesterday but the holiday season goes on in the picturesque mountain village. Since Sunday a theatrical company called Sziget has been the guest of Mr Demszky’s wife who occasionally takes a part in the theatrical company playing at Szigetszentmiklós. Among the guests are Tibor Pintér, director of the theatre, Gábor Maros, pop singer Pál Makrai, Kata Janza, and young actors, too. Mayor Demszky’s house in Croatia is worth about HUF 100 million and the press has attacked Mr Demszky for this property seemingly not based financially and for his use of the service car and driver and renting a jeep from a company of the Mayor’s Office
