The presidium of Fidesz holds an extended session of three days in Siófok – this is the first step to prepare for the government role, the information has come from an anonymous politician. He said it was decided after the EP elections that such a session would be held. Originally they wanted to evaluate the first half of the activity of the Socialist-Free Democrat government term but the resignation of Premier Medgyessy and the designation of Ferenc Gyurcsány created a new situation. The meeting will have to decide if the messages of the party remain the same or they have to be changed until the elections of 2006. It is expected that a new communications strategy will be elaborated and they will decide about the ’faces’ personifying this new phase in the policy of Fidesz.
