KULCSÁR MET BODNÁR, TOO

’I have nothing to say’, said Zoltán Bodnár, president and general director of National Motorway Company in answer to the question of Magyar Nemzet asking him about the topic of his conversation with Attila Kulcsár during the long meetings in the lobby of Marriott Hotel in June 2003, just before the outbreak of the K&H Equities fraud scandal.

The meetings must have had several eyewitnesses as the meetings were quite openly held and several big entrepreneurs and bankers meet generally there. The interesting thing is that in last September István Csillag,Minister of Economy and Transport appointed Zoltán Bodnár to be the investigating commissioner of motorway constructions without public acquisition tenders during the former government cycle. The Kulcsár-Bodnár meetings give a new aspect of the dubious transactions between K&H Equities and the National Motorway Company.
