The scandal about the construction of M6 motorway increases. National security sources claim that Premier Medgyessy has turned to them several times for information about the M6 motorway in connection with the tenders and the background of the winners.
It seems that András Tóth’s dismissal was also affected by these requests. The Supreme and the Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office so far have not received any report about corruption though the Premier accused the Free Democrats of corruption. The consortium which has won the HUF 125 billion tender was involved in cases suspected of corruption in Austria and Germany, too.
