NEW EU COMMISSIONER WILL HAVE COMPANY

László Kovács, future EU commissioner of Hungary will be probably followed by his close friend, Éva Endrényi, too, whose name had turned up in connection with the K&H broker scandal, Magyar Nemzet has been informed from several sources.

It is said the entrepreneur wishes to let one of her shops in Váci street because she wants to move to Belgium 'with the second most important politician of the country'’ as the source has put it. In the past years the chairman of the Hungarian Socialists and Ms Endrényi have been spending several summer holidays together and Mr Kovács has been a frequent visitor of the house in Buda where Ms Endrényi’s company resides according to a neighbour who diligently lists these visits. According to the taxi driver who delivered money to different addresses by the order of Attila Kulcsár, Ms Endrényi at least once received HUF 2 million from Kulcsár’s embezzled money. Now the affected people will have to make clear if they knew about the fraud in K&H Equities.
