NIGHT DUTY CHARGE UP

In pharmacies from September one has to pay an extra charge of HUF 325 instead of HUF 100 if one visits them on night duty.

This extra charge can be requested only in the case when the medicine is not for an emergency treatment. The former sum of the extra charge was accepted in 1994. István Mikola, former Minister of Health (Fidesz) said yesterday in a press briefing that different civic associations founded to relieve the health problems of Hungarians beyond the borders expect more support of the government, and the new cabinet will have to do more in this field to stop a policy of restrictions.
