GAY REALITY SHOWS TO WIN MORE VIEWERS

In about one and a half million Hungarian households viewers can enjoy the sight of young men kissing each other or having a common bath.

This can be seen in an American TV serial while another commercial channel offers a gay reality show to win more viewers. From this autumn Viasat gives several foreign reality shows but Ádám Rényi, PR manager of the channel denies that the show called ’Melegítő’ has anything to do with homosexuality. A new channel called Cool TV started to broadcast its programme on September 4 and their serial 'Boys from the Club’ proved extremely successful. A conservative media expert claims such shows and serials are totally contrary to the set of values of ’normal’ young people in Hungary.
