At the moment it is not known what the results were of the supplementary investigation in the so-called Nádor case. The Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office declared in January 2003 the police decision about stopping the investigation invalid. The procedure had been started against András Szász for fraud and other crimes. András Szász has very good connections with the Socialists and his lawyer, György Bárándy said the prosecutor would make its verdict public after New Year’s Eve but the explanation of the verdict would be a secret. Nádor Company had a commission from the Horn government to buy secret service equipments and András Szász had a loan of 33 million dollars from Commerce and Credit Bank led by János Erős but Nádor Company used only about 21 million dollars from the loan, the rest disappeared.
