At 2.00 p.m. on Tuesday Tibor Draskovics, Minister of Finance cancelled all state payments in order to reduce the annual deficit rate already modified twice, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. By this the balance will improve only on paper but the European Union will accept only the financial balance produced in spring by Hungary. All the central payments for this year have been cancelled or postponed – the sum of such payments can reach HUF 150 billion.The order affects all subsidies and V.A.T. returns to entrepreneurs.
