The Slovakian land registry coluld not find any document concerning confiscations by Eduard Benes or about expropriations. According to the law in Slovakia all the areas registered as ’abandoned’ not required by the owners until this September will be owned by the state and later by the self-government in question. The Slovakian press has started an information campaign recently and there are many Hungarians affected in the issue.
