The waterworks owns the cave bath of Tapolca famous all over the world, the bath has been developed recently with a capital of nearly HUF 2 billion, 40 pc of which was paid by the waterworks. The opposition in the assembly claims the sale will result in raising water charges while the Socialist leaders say the money will be used for reconstruction works and a regional development.
