The Central Investigation Office of the Public Prosecutor has heard László Kodela, former undersecretary of the Prime Minister’s Office suspected of trafficking with influence and tax evasion, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. László Kelemen, president-director general of the Hungarian Official Gazette Publishing Company was suspected of trafficking with influence pretending bribery. Kodela is suspected to have vistited by Attila Kulcsár, the central figure of the K&H broker scandal in the summer of 2002. Kulcsár asked protection from Kodela to smooth away the case of money-laundering. Two weeks later Kodela visited Kulcsár claiming there would be no criminal process and took HUF 5 million from Kulcsár for his alleged services.
