STATE DEFICIT INCREASING VIGOROUSLY

The recent report of the State Treasury shows the budget deficit increases without any hope to make it slower.

The report made for the Minister of Finance points out that the state incomes have become proportionally smaller while expenditures have become greater. The restrictive measures do not show their results, the deficit of this year is HUF 162 billion more than last year’s in April. The incomes from VAT have been also reduced by HUF 75 billion. From among the ten newly acceded countries it will be Hungary where the introduction of euro will be the latest according to Reuters.
