STUDENTS WANT BÁLINT MAGYAR TO RESIGN

The union of secondary school students threatens with a demonstration at the end of May.

The students say Bálint Magyar, Minister of Education should listen to his conscience and let the direction of education out of his hands. There are aggravating problems about the cancellation of the result of mathematic examinations of GCE. Experts claim only HUF 50 million might have sold the safety of the packages containing GCE tests. That is why Fidesz says the GCE examinations have become the victims of unnecessary restrictions. The Ministry of Education claims the cancellation by the order of the minister has been legitimate and needs no special law. The government spokesman said there was no scandal at all only a crime took place and refuted the information that Bálint Magyar offered his resignation to Prime Minister Gyurcsány during a night discussion.
