The results will be sent to the academic institutions which can propose modifications of the number of students to be admitted. István Klinghammer, rector of Eötvös University, Budapest said they proposed raising the number of admissions in the case of 5-6 subjects, mainly in psychology, jurisdiction, and international relations.
The rector said this year scores were higher than usual which could be explained by the fact that this was the first time when the scores of the school-leaving examination substituted the scores of a university entrance examination.
