After the private meeting Péter Antall confirmed the news to Magyar Magyar Nemzet. He said the institute would be similar to the Centre of Democracy and Premier Gyurcsány appreciated the idea to found an institute dealing with Antall’s political heritage and with the problems of the change of regime. ’The planned institute would be independent of the government’, he added.
