Only eight homeless families have been moved to a village. Last year in October Kinga Göncz, Minister of Youth, Family and Equal Opportunities announced the programme worth HUF 600 million to reduce the number of homeless in the streets of the capital. According to the programme 20 families should have been moved to Tarnabod. The commissioner of the minister said the ministry spent HUF 320 million to rent the houses and the price of 22 dispatcher cars was HUF 80 million while the construction of a heated street and that of another for employing the homeless cost HUF 100 million.
