DUMPING OF ARTIFICIAL BEER IN HUNGARY

Recently there has been an uproar by milk producers because of the appearance of ’morning drinks’ on the shelves of food stores, now canned artificial beer causes problems.

These products have been exiled from Western countries, mainly from Germany. There these products are more expensive because of an extra pollution charge, in Hungary they can be sold for a price which can be the tenth of their price in Germany -–for HUF 100. In Hungary canned beer takes 1o pc of the total consumption but by repressing the sale of bottled beer Hungarian beer production is endangered, too, which can expect a competition of cheap Slovak and Czech beer.
