József Alajos Géczi MP (Socialist Party) has given information to one of the parties in a lawsuit about the session of the parliamentary committee of immunity he was chairing. This has turned out from the official minutes of the suit.
The other party, Ferenc Papcsák MP finds it scandalous and considers legal measures. The lawsuit at the Metropolitan Court on March 19, 2004 was about an unpaid fee by the Ministry of Informatics and the lawyer representing the Ministry referred to the words of Ferenc Papcsák MP (Fidesz) recorded in the closed session of the committee of immunity, quoted by the chairman, József Alajos Géczi MP.
Mr Papcsák said it was scandalous how far the Ministry was willing to go to deprive an opposition MP of a legal fee for his work, even by promulgating state secrets. Mr Papcsák denies he has made the alleged statement in the closed session quoted in the records of the trial.
