Fidesz has increased its advantage by 1 pc in the circle of determined voters so the difference between Fidesz and the Hungarian Socialist Party has grown to 18 pc. The latest survey of the opinion poll of Szonda-Ipsos published in Népszabadság shows that 53 pc of voters supports Fidesz while 35 pc supports the Socialists. The third party which would have a chance to enter Parliament is the Free Democrats. The Fidesz lead has somewhat diminished in the circle of all voters – here it has 30 pc support against the 22 pc of the Socialists. 85 pc of Fidesz voters expect an election victory while Socialist voters are more sceptical: only 37 pc of them hope a victory in 2006. At the moment only 45 pc of the interviewed persons would go to vote which shows a decreasing tendency
