’I can hardly walk because of the beatings I suffered but the worst thing was the spiritual trial because of the fear of death’, said Scott Taylor, Canadian journalist to Magyar Nemzet. Scott Taylor was lucky enough to escape from kidnappers in Iraq. He is editor-in-chief of a military magazine entitled Esprit de Corps and he has been acted as correspondent to Magyar Nemzet several times since this April. He was captured along with his Turkish interpreter by a Shiite militant group in Northern Iraq near the Syrian border on September 5. Mr Taylor wanted to go to the village Tal Afar where the Americans had planned an air strike. The journalist was stopped and interrogated by unknown militants. Scott Taylor has been recovering until now in Ankara and leaves for Canada today.
