The Gyurcsány cabinet will only prepare the reform though Mihály Kökény, Minister of Health said in summer the reform would start soon and the Free Democrats have also insisted on its quick implementation. The new government neglects even its predecessor’s promises while new plans concerning this field can be hardly found in the health chapter of the government programme.
The chapter consists of 3 pages and there is only one new element in it compared to the programme of the Medgyessy government: they wish to take measures to repress the practice of parasolvency.
