Imre Németh, Minister of Agriculture and Regional Development can be grateful to the self-government of Pécel because according to the informations of Magyar Nemzet they decided back in 2002 to declare an agricultural area to become a residential area. By this decision Imre Németh has become a rich man. His real estate rented by Agricola Ltd has increased its price also by the fact that the M0 section of the planned motorway will be led there within 1 km. The interesting thing in the matter is that the self-government then had a right-wing majority and was led by a mayor of the Smallholders Party then at war with Fidesz. Imre Németh has lands at Pécel, in the XVI-XVII. districts of Budapest, and in Vasvár, altogether some 25 hectares
