WHO MOVES THE FIGURES?

At times when the left is in crisis the neo-Nazi threat seems to appear regularly. Diána Bácsfi, head of the Hungarist group called Hungarian Future has turned up not only in different radical and extreme right wing political movements but in a group called Leftist Front – Communist Youth Association as well. Diána Bácsfi appeared in the XVI. District groput of the Youth Section of Hungarian Justice and Life Party- the section was liquidated because several members of it had files in the National Security Office where for a time Ms Bácsfi’s father served as a major, later said to have resigned. In the 2003 yearbook of the National Security Office one can read that exteremists groups in Hungary became more active. Bácsfi’s group plans a memorial demonstration on October 15, when in 1944 the Hungarian Arrowcross Party seized the power.
