Hungary may take part with a contingent in a NATO training centre in Iraq, Magyar Nemzet has been informed. The Hungarian contingent deployed there can return at the end of this year. The special unit to be sent to Iraq can work to instruct local law enforcement troops. The parliament should decide by the end of this November about the prolongation of the mandate of the Hungarian contingent in Iraq as at least one month is necessary for the preparations of the return. The opposition had signalled earlier they would not vote for a prolongation of the mission.
