It is possible that the competent committee of the European Parliament wants to see László Kovács another time, Hír TV said referring to a news agency in Brussels. The faction coordinators of the industrial and energy committee will have to decide if they suggest a repeated hearing of László Kovács. The almost unprecedented occasion became necessary because the representatives of the Greens and the People’s Party where dissatisfied with the performance of the designate commisioner and criticized his lack of experience. Hannes Swoboda, the Austrian deputy chairman of the Socialist faction has also acknowledged Mr Kovács has no experience in the field of energy policy.
