Imre Forgács, the new head of the Metropolitan Administrative Office finds Mayor Demszky’s two offices incompatible, too, just as his predecessor did. Mr Forgács will bring his final decision after he receives the minutes of the assembly held last week. If the court confirms the decision, Mr Demszky will have to give up either his office as mayor of Budapest or resign from his post as member of the European Parliament. In the latter case by-election must be called for the mayoral post in Budapest.
