SOLUTION OF FENYŐ-CASE NEAR?

István Sándor nicknamed as ’Papa’ was heard by the Central Criminal Investigation Department as witness in the case of János Fenyő’s murder, Magyar Nemzet has been informed.

The former police officer would not refute or confirm this, he just said it was not timely to make a statement yet. It is surmised that István Sándor’s former detectives had written a number of reports after the murder and the documents were qualified later secret. In these reports the probable ’customer’, mediator, and executor of the crime are also mentioned by name. There is among them the name of an entrepreneur now in custody whose lawyer has declared for them ’there is no Fenyő-case’. The National Bureau of Investigation in Aradi street has summoned several, so far not heard witnesses. An anonymous police officer said to Magyar Nemzet if they had any luck they could name the suspects within one or two months. János Fenyő, media entrepreneur was murdered on February 11, 1998 in his Mercedes in Margit street, in Buda, by more than ten shots.
