The bombing took place on July 2, 1998 causing four people’s death, including Tamás Boros, the target of the attempt. On Tuesday Slobodan S. was heard as witness in the Kecskemét mafia trial and he said Tamás Boros’s murder had been ordered by László R., leader of the gang. The witness said probably Russian assassins killed the entrepreneur involved in oil bleaching.
The witness said the Russians had been in the service of László R. since 1995. The Serbian Slobodan S. consequently mentions Russians and Ukrainians, though the investigations earlier pointed to criminals from Slovakia. Leading police officers said to Magyar Nemzet these informations had been known by the police but so far they could not find an evidence for them.
