SCHOOL-LEAVING EXAMINATION TOPICS NOT CLASSIFIED

The Office of the Supreme Public Prosecutor says the school-leaving examination topics were not classified properly so it stopped the investigation in the case because the topics could not be regarded as official secrets.

They have dropped the charges against three suspects but the investigation will be continued against the person or persons who leaked out the topics. Bálint Magyar, Minister of Education finds the decision absurd as the packages of topics were properly classified so people who opened the packages without authorization certainly committed the crime of disclosure of official secrets. The opposition criticizes the Ministry of Education for the scandal.
