This is the essence of the answer of the Ministry of Equal Opportunities to the question of Magyar Nemzet. The persons put under the ruling of staying away could not visit even the same church as their former partners. The institution of staying away is to be introduced to prevent violence in the family and to protect probable witnesses to a crime.
The Ministry of Equal Opportunities claims the persons punished by this measure should provide the necessary conditions of housing for themselves with the help of relatives or the local community. Several authorities criticize this plan from the point of view of public security and from that of the financial security of families.
