SUPREME PUBLIC PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TO SUPERVISE BUDAPEST AIRPORT COMPANY

A private person has turned to Péter Polt, Supreme Public Prosecutor with a petition to supervise the property management contract concluded by Budapest Airport Company (B.A.) and the Treasury Property Management (KVI).

The petition requests the Supreme Public Prosecutor to declare that the contract concluded on December 28, 2002 is invalid according to the Hungarian laws. The petition claims it was a false contract which caused damage to the Republic of Hungary. It is also questionable if the contracts concluded by B.A. between 2002 and 2005 are truly valid or not. The porperty management contract anyway does not affect all the properties of B.A., the petition claims.
