Announcement on the Hungarian Hostage + Video

After more than two years, the latest reports confirm that Omri Miran has been handed over by Hamas to the Red Cross. The last Hungarian hostage has been freed from captivity, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto announced Monday on his Facebook page.

Release of the Hostages Has Begun.

As reported earlier, the Hamas Islamist terrorist organization has released the first group of seven Israeli hostages to representatives of the International Red Cross in the northern Gaza Strip. Among the first to arrive in Israel was Omri Miran, who also holds Hungarian citizenship, Gal and Ziv Berman — a pair of abducted siblings, Matan Angrest, one of the kidnapped soldiers, Alon Ohel, who suffered an eye injury during the Hamas terrorist attack, and Eitan Mor and Guy Gilboa-Dalal.
