Brussels Scandal Mounts, Rolling Euros Case May Be Exposed

A corruption network has emerged within the EU.

Alongside the rolling dollars from USAID, the network of funds sent from Brussels to gain political influence may soon be uncovered as well, the regional Haon news outlet reported from Tamas Deutsch’s press conference in Debrecen, eastern Hungary.

The MEP of the Fidesz and Christian Democrats pointed out that

a large-scale corruption network has emerged within the European Union, so developments should not be surprising.

He noted that several former and current EU officials are being prosecuted, and that during the EU's 2023 budget year, seven EU directorates-general signed contracts worth over ten thousand euros with various NGOs. He cited the example of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who procured 27 billion euros worth of goods and products via SMS.

The government to reveal how much money flowed into Hungary

According to MP Lajos Kosa, former Debrecen mayor, USAID has distributed an incomprehensible amount of money among European non-governmental organizations.

It's no coincidence that the Hungarian government has appointed a member of parliament to reveal to whom and how much money has been awarded by USAID  in Hungary,

the MP stated.

He recalled that since 2017, 2.7 billion forints in US funding has been funneled to opposition organizations and media outlets, including some in Debrecen, and this is not in the interest of the local population.
