Balazs Orban Responds to Brussels’ New Plan

The Hungarian Prime Minister’s political director responded on social media to Brussels’ latest proposals regarding support for Ukraine. According to Balazs Orban, Hungary will not allow the Hungarian people’s money to be sent to corrupt Ukraine.

The political director pointed out that in her letter, Ursuala von der Leyen claims the Russia–Ukraine war could end as early as 2026 — yet, at the same time, we know from the Commission president herself that Brussels wants to finalize Ukraine’s EU membership by 2030, while simultaneously preparing Europe for a potential direct conflict between Europe and Russia.

Hungary will not sign off on sending the Hungarian people’s money into the war — or into the pockets of the Ukrainian wartime mafia. We stand for peace, for sovereignty, and for putting Hungarian national interests first — and we will hold to that position even if we stand alone in Europe,

Balazs Orban emphasized.

Hungary Supports Entrepreneurs Instead

Earlier, the political director had shared Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s latest announcement outlining new measures to assist businesses struggling with the burdens imposed by the war.

Balazs Orban reiterated 

While Brussels is building a wartime economy, we are supporting Hungarian entrepreneurs.
