In the post the foreign affairs minister commented:
Yesterday, it became clearer than ever who wants peace and who wants war; who is seeking to stop the bloodshed and who wants it to continue; who stands on the ground of common sense and who is willing to sacrifice human lives and billions of euros just to prolong the war…
He added:
President Donald Trump's stand for peace was the greatest moment of the last three years. We hope that he will succeed in the U.S.-Russia negotiations because only an American-Russian agreement can bring peace back to our beloved Central Europe,
the Hungarian foreign minister wrote.
