The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs has stated the head of the territorial department was also responsible for the scandal that the hungarian ambassador to Bangkok spent his holiday at home and did not return to his post. Though András Hajdú, administrative state secretary of the Ministry Of Foreign Affairs would not name the head of department it is alleged that it was Béla László. Mr. Hajdú did not refute the news that the whole staff of the upper leadership of the ministry had been on holiday though he said sometimes they visited the building of the ministry. Earlier János Vándor, ambassador said he was not on holiday but returned for a medical treatment. If that was the case, his dismissal was illegal.
