In a statement issued yesterday, the European People's Party declared that their top priority is "unwavering" support for Ukraine and its war efforts, "without preconditions and for as long as necessary."
This is not an abstract political statement shouted into the void, as it carries serious financial consequences. They are working on another multi-billion-euro aid package.
They intend to continue the worst traditions of recent years, increasing war expenditures even at the cost of diverting funds from other areas, the MEP pointed out.
