In a social media post, Peter Szijjarto detailed his conversation with Sergey Lavrov and the situation concerning the TurkStream pipeline. He stated that the pipeline is a key guarantee of Hungary’s natural gas supply security.

Just now, my Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov informed me by phone that last night, a Ukrainian drone attack targeted the Russkaya compressor station, a crucial part of the TurkStream gas pipeline. The Russian air defense neutralized all three drones,
Szijjarto wrote on Facebook.
He stressed,
The TurkStream pipeline's operational status is critical for Hungary’s energy security. Since energy security is a matter of sovereignty, such attacks must be considered attacks on sovereignty,
he declared.
European Commission Breaks Its Promise
Szijjarto criticized the European Commission, stating
The European Commission had previously guaranteed that Ukraine would not target infrastructure leading into the European Union. We call on the Commission to immediately clarify whether it stands by the guarantees it has provided!
the foreign minister concluded his post.
