Hungary FM: This Is Safest Place in Europe for East-West Cooperation
Hungary has always lost out when East and West were pitted against each other.
The EU Foreign Affairs Council met again Thursday in Brussels, this time with states' foreign affairs ministers.

"We are facing the most dangerous two months in decades," Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto says.

In desperation the war hawks aren't even shying away from a global-scale escalation of the war in Ukraine, Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto says.

Hungary, and especially Budapest, boasts exceptional public safety in Europe.

Transylvanian Hungarians have the means to send strong delegates to Bucharest, ensuring that decisions affecting them are not made without their involvement, Hungary's foreign minister stated.

At a panel discussion at the Investment Conference in Republika Srpska, the minister stressed that the national interest is always the guiding principle of the Hungarian government's work.

Peter Szijjarto talks on Hir TV about the possible trajectory of post-US elections Hungarian-American relations, also touching on the work of current US Ambassador David Pressman.

"We are not a jawohl country, no one can tell us what to say or what to stand for. We represent the Hungarian national interest," Peter Szijjarto said.

The measure does not serve the interests of European countries or companies, Hungary's FM said.
